Step 2
We'll process your request and send you a non-binding offer to renew your SUM license. This usually takes 2-4 business days.
Step 3
If you like our offer, you can place the order for the license with us. Take care that your radio runs on firmware 2.10 or higher before it will accept the SUM license.
Step 4
Your SUM license will be stored on the Motorola license server for you. This usually takes about 2 business days.
Step 5
Connect to the Motorola license server from your computer. Along with the SUM license, we will provide you with a detailed guide on how to do this.
Step 6
Connect your radio to your computer using a data cable, launch the Motorola CPS programming software, and select 'Restore Device License'. After that, you can install new firmware on your radio.
