Hytera has released new firmware versions and updated HyTalk applications for several Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) devices and bodycams. The updates include new features, stability improvements, bug fixes, and optimizations for battery life, security and usability.

The updates are especially relevant for the P50, P50 Pro, P60 and PNC360S. New firmware versions for additional Hytera devices and updated HyTalk versions are also available.

Hytera P50 receives new microphone feature

Firmware version V1.2.05.004.01 is now available for the Hytera P50.

New feature

Adjustable microphone pickup distance with Near/Far
Optimized voice pickup depending on the usage situation

The new feature supports improved speech intelligibility during direct use and when speaking from a greater distance from the microphone.

Settings path:
Menu → Device → Sound → Anti-feedback mode (Off) → Pickup Distance → Near/Far

Hytera P50 Pro: Improved stability for third-party applications

Firmware version V1.2.04.001.01 has been released for the Hytera P50 Pro.

Bug fixes

Fixes an issue that could cause third-party applications to crash

If you use industry-specific applications or your own software solutions on the device, this update can improve system stability.

Hytera P60 receives extensive firmware update

With firmware version V1.0.02.015.01, the Hytera P60 receives several improvements and new functions.

PNC360S receives several optimizations

Firmware version V1.3.05.000.02 has been released for the Hytera PNC360S.

In addition to the firmware updates, new versions of the HyTalk PoC application have also been released.

Performing the firmware update

The firmware updates for the P50, P50 Pro, and P60 can be performed locally via the MDM SE or deployed centrally through the MDM Pro.
